We offer seasonal premium teas and handcrafted Japanese fine desserts, available through curated tea experiences or à la carte menu options.

TEA KAISEKI
(a two-hour experience)
The tea kaiseki course changes with the season.
The seasonal Tea Kaiseki Experience is an exclusive, curated five-course premium tea and dessert tasting, allowing you to explore teas from different regions through the senses of sight, touch, smell, and taste.
This experience includes five premium teas, each paired with a carefully handcrafted dessert.
Limited to just 8 guests per session. Advance reservation, at least 24 hours in advance, are required.

RESERVATION POLICY
DEPOSIT | At Cliff & Max, we strive to provide a calm and tranquil tea experience for our guests. A deposit of RM 10 per person for tea salon or a full payment for curated tea experience is required to guarantee the booking confirmation. Kindly note that the deposit is strictly Non-Refundable for cancellations and no-shows.
TIME SLOTS | Each Tea Salon reservation slot has a 90-minute seating duration. We kindly ask that you honour your reservation time. To ensure a comfortable seating experience for all our guests, we will only hold your reservation for 15 minutes. For any unforeseen delays, kindly let us know in advance by IG DM or calling/whatsapp us at +6017 647 4388. Guests are allowed to reschedule to other date/time for one time only.
SEATING | As we practice the concept of Japanese tea sabō, the main sharing table is the heart of the tea room, valuing simplicity and minimalism. Hence, the seating arrangements are intended to provide a simple home-like tea experience for all guests. The tea salon has limited seating, and walk-ins are subject to availability. We do offer window seatings if the main table is full. Hence, we recommend that you reserve your seats in advance for a better tea experience.
EXPERIENCE | In the tea salon, we wish to provide a sense of wellness and tranquility in the space. In consideration of other guests, we kindly ask that you quiet down your thoughts, minimise photo taking and lower down your speech volume while enjoying the process of slow-living and mindfulness through the sips of tea and desserts.
ORDER | To ensure a better tea experience, each of our tea set are designed for one pax only. For tea salon, there will be a minimum spending of at least one loose leaf/matcha tea set per pax.
PETS | If you wish to bring your furry friend to the tea salon, kindly Instagram DM us prior to making reservations. We allow bringing pets indoor on non-peak hours (Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 4.30 pm table/5pm window seating slot) to ensure a comfortable tea experience for all guests. We practice a strict pet policy of one guest one small pet (below 8kg) policy. Pets above 8kg can be seated outdoor. Kindly leave a reservation note that you'll be bringing a pet when making a reservation.
CHILDREN | The tea salon experience is not suitable for children under 12, as our environment is not designed for their safety or comfort. We reserve the right to refuse entry to groups with children. We appreciate your understanding as we work to maintain a peaceful ambiance for all our guests.
