Introducing the concept of wellness through an exquisite tea experience in Cliff & Max's lifestyle store.

Offering seasonal premium teas and Japanese fine desserts, in the form of ala carte and set.

The tea salon welcomes you every Friday to Sunday, 11 am to 6 pm on ala carte order basis.

Tea ceremonies are held only Saturday & Sunday, 11.30 am to 12.30 pm.

Limited seatings per slot. Reservations are recommended.

TEA CEREMONY

Every Saturday and Sunday morning (11:30am - 12.30pm), the tea salon is open exclusively for you to experience tea through a traditional tea ceremony ritual. Our Tea Master will brew seasonal premium loose-leaf teas using the traditional method of brewing for you.

Explore the characteristics of the tea served in this session and explore how the tea develops through each steep. This session is designed and curated for you to enjoy tea in a place where you can appreciate serenity and calmness through the sips of tea.

This is a fully pre-paid session of RM85 per pax (inclusive of one premium tea brew and one dessert). Limited to only 6 pax per session, reservations are required.

We practice a strict policy for children and pets.

RESERVATION POLICY

DEPOSIT | At Cliff & Max, we strive to provide a calm and tranquil tea experience for our guests. A deposit of RM 10 per person is required to guarantee the booking confirmation. Kindly note that the deposit is strictly Non-Refundable for cancellations and no-shows.

TIME SLOTS | Each reservation slot has a 90-minute seating duration. We kindly ask that you honour your reservation time. To ensure a comfortable seating experience for all our guests, we will only hold your reservation for 15 minutes. For any unforeseen delays, kindly let us know in advance by IG DM or calling/whatsapp us at +6017 647 4388. Guests are allowed to reschedule to other date/time for one time only.

SEATING | As we practice the concept of Japanese tea sabō, the main sharing table is the heart of the tea room, valuing simplicity and minimalism. Hence, the seating arrangements are intended to provide a simple home-like tea experience for all guests. The tea salon has limited seating, and walk-ins are subject to availability. We do offer window seatings if the main table is full. Hence, we recommend that you reserve your seats in advance for a better tea experience.

EXPERIENCE | In the tea salon, we wish to provide a sense of wellness and tranquility in the space. In consideration of other guests, we kindly ask that you quiet down your thoughts, minimise photo taking and lower down your speech volume while enjoying the process of slow-living and mindfulness through the sips of tea and desserts.

ORDER | To ensure a better tea experience, each of our tea set are designed for one pax only. For main table reservations, there will be a minimum spending of at least one loose leaf/matcha tea set per pax. For window seatings, there will be no minimum spending per pax.

PETS | If you wish to bring your furry friend to the tea room, kindly Instagram DM us prior to making reservations. We allow bringing pets indoor on non-peak hours (Friday morning 11.30am slot, Saturday & Sunday 4.45pm slot) to ensure a comfortable tea experience for all guests. We practice a strict pet policy of one guest one small pet (below 8kg) policy. Pets above 8kg can be seated outdoor. Kindly leave a reservation note that you'll be bringing a pet when making a reservation.

CHILDREN | The tea room experience is NOT suitable for children under 12 years of age, and our environment is not safe and conducive to children. We reserve the right to refuse entry on groups with children. We ask for your understanding in this matter as we strive to provide a comfortable ambience for all our guests.
